The best moments in Hollow Tide Expedition are the ones you can miss
Hollow Tide Expedition isn't a game to rush, even though the main path is fairly short. The story it tells on the critical path is fine — but the stuff hidden in side rooms is where it genuinely got under my skin.
I nearly walked past an optional flooded chapel that turned out to hold the most affecting scene in the whole game. After that I started checking every door.
Turn your brightness up a little. A lot of the environmental storytelling hides in dim corners, and it's easy to miss notes scrawled on walls.
Don't stress about the puzzles. None of them are cruel, and the game nudges you if you stall. Treat it like a slow walk rather than a test.
